So I did a photo shoot of Jonah this week. He is so photogenic! He will cry and the second my flash starts going off its like he stops and looks up and poses perfectly! Hes a natural :)
Of course Charlie Buckets couldnt be left out of a picture so he joined in on a few. Got some amazing shots! Jonah decided to pee on the couch in the middle of the shoot otherwise I would have gotten more haha
Enjoy!

Merry Christmas!
We had such a wonderful Christmas! Jonah of course got the most presents, tons of book and fun toys for him to play with when he gets a bit older. We had a great time with our families, and are so blessed this holiday season! On Christmas eve, Bryan and I had our own little family Christmas with Jonah where we watched classic Christmas movies, opened presents and pigged out. On Christmas day we spent it with my mom, dad, brother, aunt, uncle and cousins. We played games, watched elf, and opened presents. Oh and of course ate more delicious food :) The day after Christmas we went to Bryans families home and ate even more awesome food and opened even more presents! It was a great time.

Jonah's Story!
Jonah Michael Cassidy was born November 11th 2010. He weighed 7lbs 5 oz, and was 17 inches long. He was born at 1:12 pm after only 4 hours of labor!
Jonah had been teasing me with contractions for 3 weeks before he actually decided to come out. I had gone to the labor and delivery 3 times thinking it was the real deal only to be sent home due to not progressing with dialation. I was dialated 3cm for 3 weeks. Finally my doctor agreed to induce labor at 39 weeks, so I scheduled the induction for Monday Nov 22nd.
Sure enough, the morning of Sunday the 21st at around 4:30 am I started having painful back pains and contractions. They werent to much worse than those I had already been having, so I just waited it out. Finally at around 8am I had a strong feeling this was it, so off to the hospital we went and arrived at 9am.
Luckily my doctor was already there, and he said we could go ahead and break my water. Immedietly the contractions started strong and back to back. Luckily they got me the epideral fast because if they would have checked me Im sure I would have been to far along. I know I dialated so fast from a 4 to almost a 7 just because my contractions were soo strong and they were back to back. Thank God for epiderals! I wouldnt have made it without one, contractions freaking hurt!
About 45 minutes after the epidural, the nurse checked me and much to my suprise I was 10cm dilated! She said we are ready to push. I pushed a couple times with her and then Dr.Hulsen came in and It took about 3 sets of pushes and Jonah was here!
Honestly, even though the contractions were painful, I would do it all over again. Having Jonah was the best day of my life and I cant even describe how amazing it is to see the little one you have been carrying around for 9 months finally in your arms. Thank God for my wonderful husband and my mom and my mother in law. They were so supportive and great coaches!
So there it is...Jonah's story. It was short ( 4 hours!) but it was the most AMAZING day of my life next to my wedding. I love him so much, I didnt even think it was possible to love someone as much as I love my husband and my son. He is such a good baby. He sleeps at night, and he only cries when he either wants to be held, changed, burped, or fed. I am so blessed to have such a perfect little boy :)
We are ready for the next one! haha maybe in a few years :)
